Altoona–On Feburary 25th, 2012, three Northeastern Pummeling Den fighters will be competing in a Mixed Martial Arts event. ” Complete Devestation 3″ will be held at the Blair County Convention Center, located in Altoona. The fighters, Dan Poliski (1-0), Levi McCord (2-1), and Zack Hoy (2-0), will put their skills to the test. All three fighters will be Competing in the Amateur division against fighters from the Mid-West and Eastern United States.
Another fighter, Aaron Dugan, will be competing on April 27th, 2012, at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Dugan will be making his Professional deut in Lou Neglia’s Ring of Combat, and is what some people say, one of the toughest events in the country.
With the exception of Hoy, who trains out of St. Marys Northeastern Pummeling den under head instructor Dan Meyer, all fighters train at NPD located in Clearfield. Head instructor there, Todd Butler, is a veteran of the cage. He has competed all over the world, including Vale Tudo Fights in Tokyo, Japan, as well as competing as a main event fighter in the UFC.
