Loretta G. Bartasavich, Age 83, DuBois, PA died Feb. 4, 2012 at her residence.
Born on July 31, 1928 in Punxsutawney, PA, she was the daughter of the late John J & Sara (Taraskiewicz) Guzzy.
On Aug. 27, 1949, she married John J. Bartasavich  he preceded her in death on November 7, 2006.
She retired as a medical secretary from the DuBois Regional Medical Center after over 20 years of service.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Infant of Prague Society. She was a member of the Friendly Club.
She is survived by a son, 2 sisters ( Mrs. Donald (Patricia) Righi of Ohio, & Mrs. Michael (Rosemarie) Cieslak of New York) and a brother (Joseph Guzzy of Georgia).She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister (Marie Guzzy) and 2 brothers ( James & John Guzzy, Jr.)
A private viewing will be held at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Feb. 8, 2012 at 10 a.m. from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Fr. David Foradori officiating.Â
Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery
