CLEARFIELD – The Fair and Park Board was pleased to announce that Bates Bros. Amusement Co. will be joining the Clearfield County Fair. Bates Bros. Amusement Co. has been in operation for over 40 years.
Over the past years, Eric and his family are to be associated with a reputation of high standards and high caliber equipment and to have worked with some wonderful individuals throughout the business. The family said they look forward to developing new relationships with both committee members and contracted associates. The Bates family has been fortunate to work around and develop friendships with many wonderful people in the industry and hope for more good things to come.
Bates Bros. Amusement Co. provides “clean family entertainment” to over 40 fairs, festivals and events throughout Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. With the support of family and knowledgeable staff and a reputation for excellence, Bates Bros. looks forward to a future of continued growth, education and success.
The fair will also experience its first major change at the gate in some time. A “Pay on Price for Gate Admission & Carnival” will be offered. The Fair Board Directors decided to make this major change so fairgoers can enjoy a quality carnival mid-way at a much more affordable price than in years past. The one price at the gate provides gate admission and access to the carnival from open to close.
Fair Board Directors are planning options for senior citizens, young children, season pass holders, vendors and exhibitors. These options will be announced in the near future once all the details have been finalized.
“We are continually looking for options and ideas that will improve aspects of the fair so we can move the fair forward and provide quality family-oriented fun at an affordable, reasonable cost,” said Publicity Director Brenda Hunter.
