BROOKVILLE – After four days of jury selection, a jury of nine women and seven men were chosen for a high-profile murder trial in Jefferson County. Twelve of those men and women will participate as the regular jury, and four alternates will also sit in for testimony.Â
On Monday morning opening arguments began for a murder that has shaken a small Jefferson County town.Â
On April 12, 2010 Victoria and Wayne Shugar were found shot to death in their home along Coal Tipple Road in Brockway.Â
The suspect in the murder was determined to be Steven Rebert of Emporium.Â
On Monday the trial of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania vs. Steven Patrick Rebert began.Â
