CLEARFIELD – The Central PA Outdoor & Sports Show returns to the Clearfield County Fairgrounds March 23, 24 and 25.
Last year’s event drew over 6,000 visitors and will again be held in conjunction with the annual March events coined by Grice Gun Shop, Bob’s Army & Navy and Jim’s Sports Center and other downtown businesses.
Organizers expect a large increase in the number of attendees this year and have already planned a re-structuring of the host facility’s floor plan to accommodate more exhibitors in the Expo II building. According to Brenda Morgan, Public Relations Director for the Clearfield County Fair Board, “The Fair & Park Board Directors are pleased to be able to host an outdoor show of this quality. Attendees will be greeted by a brighter, fresher interior of Expo II Building as a number of small renovations are being made.”
The event will feature lines of fishing and hunting gear, various displays and exhibits, information from guides and outfitters, and the latest in fishing boats, ATVs and RVs.
This is the 3rd year for the local show organized and promoted by First Media Radio, GantDaily and WJAC-TV. A full slate of new demonstrations, speakers and events are being planned including fly tying and fly casting competitions as well as other contests.
