The Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees will be hosting holiday giving trees at public libraries across Clearfield County. PASR is beginning a new program this year with a goal of helping the area children of Clearfield County during the holiday season.
From now through Dec. 3, area residents are invited to assist the PASR in their goal may simply drop by any one of the following public libraries: The Shaw Public Library, the Curwensville Public Library, the Clearfield County Libraries Headquarters, any of the Clearfield County 21 Bookmobile stops, or the Osceola Mills Public Library.
Charlotte Kanour, president of PASR, makes suggests that donations are any size children’s hats, scarves, gloves, mittens or socks. All items collected will be donated to the Clearfield Area Salvation Army, the Sneaker Closet at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Clearfield and the Trinity United Methodist Church Shoe Bank in Philipsburg.
