A two-vehicle accident occurred at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday along U.S. Route 322 at its intersection with Campys Lane in Rush Township, Centre County. A 26-year-old Philipsburg woman and David Cummings Jr., 29, of Osceola Mills were traveling eastbound on Route 322 when the latter vehicle slowed for a right-hand turn onto Campys Lane. The woman rear-ended the Cummings vehicle, causing it to spin 180 degrees clockwise while traveling off the south berm. Both were wearing their seatbelts; the woman sustained minor injuries. She was cited for vehicle code violation 3310.
Minor injuries were reported following a single vehicle accident at 12:35 p.m. Nov. 4 along the Julian Pike in Huston Township, Centre County. A 40-year-old Julian woman traveled eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle, attempting to negotiate a slight left bend in the roadway. Her vehicle dropped off the south side of the roadway and struck a tree with its bumper. Her vehicle sustained heavy frontend damage. The woman and her passenger a 17-year-old Julian girl sustained minor injuries. The woman’s been charged with vehicle code violation 3361.
