MARTINSBURG — The Clearfield junior varsity football team finished their season with a 4-4 record Monday night after losing a tough 16-13 game to the Central Dragons.
After a scoreless first half, the visiting Bisons hit paydirt on a 29-yard touchdown run by Rico Longoria in the third quarter to take a 7-0 lead.
The hosts responded when they returned a fumble 60 yards for a touchdown then tacked on the 2-point conversion for an 8-7 lead heading into the final quarter of the season.

An unsuccessful on-side kick sealed Clearfield’s fate at the short end of a 16-13 final score.
