- Police responded to alarms at the Social Security Administration building and Friedman Electric.

- A 59-year-old Punxsutawney man was arrested after he failed to leave DuBois Manor Motel when asked to do so by management. He was placed in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
- An 18-year-year-old DuBois man and 16-year-old DuBois girl were found to be under the influence of prescription drugs, which were not prescribed to them. The girl was in possession of the pills. Both were on juvenile probation in Clearfield County.
Sept. 12, 2011
- An unattended vehicle drifted down West Spruce Alley and struck a building. The owner was located. No injuries were reported.
