Police Report: PSP Philipsburg

A friend arrived at Port Matilda resident Daniel L. Welch’s home to check on him. Upon arrival Welch was found deceased. The death was attributed to natural causes.
Police are investigating an indecent assault reported in Halfmoon Township. Police were contacted by Centre County Children, Youth and Family Services, who stated they received information that a 5-year-old girl had been innapropriately touched by an 11-year-old boy while playing.
On Aug. 23 a 44-year-old woman threatened a 43-year-old woman at Dollar General in Philipsburg.
A Clearfield woman’s vehicle was legally parked in a parking lot on Presquisle Street. Someone struck her vehicle around the rear bumper with an object that was black in color. Damage is estimated at $300.
