Police responded to the area of Carbon Mine Road, where two individuals reportedly had rifles. Officers checked the area but had negative contact.
Another reported was received about four-wheelers on the Lick Run roadway. The caller stated that one operator almost struck his vehicle and was traveling at a high rate of speed.
A single-vehicle accident with injuries was reported along River Road and Plaza Drive. For unknown reasons, the vehicle’s operator ran off the roadway, traveled up the berm and struck a telephone pole. The operator was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Another reported was received about a four-wheeler on the roadway in the area of West Front Street and Mount Joy. Officers stopped the operator, and charges will be filed.

Police assisted the Clearfield Borough Police with a mental health crisis, while a borough resident was threatening to harm himself. Borough police had the man in custody, and township police cleared without incident.
Police assisted the Clearfield Borough Police with a reported unauthorized use of a motor vehicle that occurred in both jurisdictions. After investigation into the matter, it was determined to be civil in nature, and both parties were referred to the appropriate agencies.
Lawrence Township and Clearfield Borough police were called to search for a patient who was threatening to harm himself. The patient was located in a wooded area above West Seventh Avenue and taken into custody. He was transported to the hospital. Township police remained at the scene at the emergency room until the patient wasn’t combative.
A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Hillsdale Community Center. The vehicle was gone when police arrived at the scene.
A traffic violation was reported on Charles Road, and police have a vehicle description and registration plate number. The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.

Someone was reported as possibly driving under the influence along U.S. Route 322 westbound. The vehicle was located and the operator wasn’t found to be intoxicated, just tired.
An incident of retail theft was reported at the Sheetz store along state Route 879. An adult female will be charged with misdemeanor theft offenses as a result.
A domestic disturbance was reported in the Hillsdale area. The incident was found to be verbal in nature, and police resolved the matter at the scene.
A single-vehicle accident was reported on the Glen Richey Highway, where a juvenile male lost control of his vehicle rounding a curve near the Pine Grove Church. He subsequently struck an embankment. No injuries were reported, but the vehicle sustained severe damage as a result.
A hit-and-run accident was reported at a local business. Police were able to review the security footage of the parking area and determined that the incident didn’t occur at the reported location.
Unlicensed motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles were reported in the Glen Richey area. ATV owners are reminded that substantial vehicle code penalties exist for those found operating them on streets and highways.
An overnight burglary was reported in the Morrison Road area, where unknown person(s) forcibly entered a storage building and removed an estimated $2,500 value of tools and agricultural equipment. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Suspicious people were reported walking along SR 879, but responding officers weren’t able to locate them.

Police responded to the Sheetz store located on SR 879 for an unconscious male at the gas pumps. It was later found that the male was sleeping and intoxicated. Charges are pending.

A parking complaint was reported at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, while vehicles were parked in the physically disabled spots, but placards weren’t being displayed.
A camcorder was recovered along the roadside, and the owner can claim it by contacting police and identifying the device.
An incident of receiving stolen property is being investigated. The identity of the suspect is known by police, and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
A domestic disturbance was reported that police found wasn’t physical in nature. Both parties were already separated and agreed to have no further contact with each other at this time.
A neighbor dispute was reported at the Lawrence Park Village. Both parties accused the other of making threats to do harm to the other. The individuals were separated and all parties were informed that if police returned an arrested would be made.
A suspicious male was reported at Snappy’s, and the responding officer and learned he was wanted by the township for a warrant of unpaid fines. The male paid the fines in full and was released.
A suspicious vehicle was reported along Dorey Street Extension. Police located the male and transported him to his residence for the night.
