Indiana–Joseph B. Bower, Jr., President and CEO of CNB Bank, announces it has opened a Commercial Loan Office in Indiana in order to serve small business and commercial customers in the region. The office is currently located in Suite 222 of The Atrium, located at 665 Philadelphia Street in downtown Indiana.
“The opening of this loan production office is being done in response to the commercial loan needs in and around the community of Indiana,” announced Mr. Bower.
Mr. Bower is pleased to announce further that veteran bankers Jeffrey W. Alabran, C. Brett Stewart and Deborah Peak will lead CNB in this endeavor. Mr. Alabran will be the Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending; Mr. Stewart will be the Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lending; and Mrs. Peak will be Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager for the new Commercial Loan Office.
In these positions, Alabran, Stewart and Peak will have the overall responsibility for developing financial relationships in the Indiana area.
Mr. Alabran began his banking career in the Management Training Program with the former Keystone National Bank in 1977. He held various positions throughout the years, with concentrations in commercial lending portfolio management. Mr. Alabran joins CNB Bank from a local bank, where his most recent title was Chief Lending Officer/Chief Credit Officer.
A native of Smicksburg, PA, Jeffrey graduated from Punxsutawney Area Senior High School prior to attending Penn State University, where he earned an Associate’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. Jeffrey later attended the University of South Florida, taking Business Administration courses with concentrations in Finance.
Mr. Alabran has been active in a number of community, civic, and charitable organizations over the years. He is currently involved in the Armstrong-Indiana 4H program and is a member of the Armstrong Horseman’s Association. His is also past Director of Punxsutawney Hospital.
Mr. Stewart began his banking career with S&T Bank in 1977. In 1991, he joined First Federal Savings and Loan as a Lending Officer and, in 1995, went on to become a Financial Analyst for The Reschini Agency. Brett joins CNB Bank from a local bank, where he was most recently Vice President/Business Development Officer.
A native of Indiana, PA, Brett graduated from Indiana Area High School in 1977 prior to attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Since then, he obtained his Certificate in Commercial Lending from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Central Atlantic School of Commercial Lending at Bucknell University, and his Commercial Lending Certificate from the ABA National Commercial Lending School in Dallas, TX.
Mr. Stewart is publicity coordinator for the Indiana Area Soccer Boosters and a member of Graystone Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Peak began her banking career with National Bank of the Commonwealth in 1979 and was promoted through the years and upon retiring was Assistant Vice President/Commercial Lending Portfolio Manager. Later she was Assistant Relationship Manager for Enterprise Bank. Deborah joins CNB Bank from a local bank, where she was most recently Commercial Loan Portfolio Administrator.
A native of the Indiana area as well, Deborah graduated from Marion Center High School prior to attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Since then, she has taken numerous banking courses from the American Institute of Banking (AIB), attended Katz School of Business and Robert Morris Associates.

Jeffrey currently resides in Creekside with his wife and three children. Brett resides in Indiana with his wife and two children; and Deborah also resides in Indiana with her husband.
