GRAMPIAN – A Grampian man was taken for medical treatment after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday.
According to the state police in Clearfield, the vehicle was traveling south on US Route 219. Brandon Stiffler, 26, was in the middle of the road, attempting to cross the southbound lane of traffic. The driver struck Stiffler with the right corner of their vehicle and fled the scene.
Stiffler was flown to Altoona Regional for treatment of moderate injuries.
Police believe the vehicle is a mini-van, possibly a Chevrolet Venture. The vehicle should be missing the passenger side mirror and a plastic piece of bumper molding from the right front corner of the bumper. There will also be damage to the passenger’s side marker and head lights.
