On July 13, a Sandy Ridge woman found that her cat had been shot with a BB gun.
Two Sandy Ridge residents purchased meat from a door-to-door salesman. There was a mix-up in how the items were to be paid for and the residents did not receive their meat. Police stated it may have been a mix-up with the company.
Between July 19 and July 20, someone let the air out of three of a Philipsburg woman’s tires while she was parked on Presqeisle Street in Philipsburg. The person also cut an electric wire on the engine.
Someone removed copper wire from telephone lines within Philipsburg Borough.
Someone removed sunglasses, and iPod adapter and damaged a radio from a Ford Mustang. The person also removed sunglasses and loose change to a Chevrolet Caprice. Both vehicles were parked on North Fourth Street in Philipsburg borough. The person also rummaged through the saddle bags on a Harley Davidson Heritage Softail next door and removed a Leatherman tool.
Police are investigating an incident that took place in Rush Township, Centre County. An Osceola Mills man reported that while at a gathering an altercation broke out between himself and a Philipsburg man. The Osceola Mills man suffered a broken jaw and lost a tooth.
