CLEARFIELD – Starting Monday, PennDOT will perform work on bridges along four state routes in Clearfield County. Crews will begin repair work on the following bridges:
— Interstate 80 near the Falls Creek exit
— U.S. Route 219 near Burnside
— Route 1009 near Fairview
— U.S. Route 322 in Clearfield
Traffic control will consist of single lane closures on a daily basis. Crews will eventually move through Clinton, Elk, Cameron, McKean, and Potter counties to perform repairs on 82 bridges. The contractor on the $1.4 million job is Swank Construction and Associates Inc.
Completion is slated for Clearfield County work on Aug. 24.
All work is weather-dependent.
