Althea ‘Mickey’ High, 68, of Clearfield died on June 27, 2011 at her residence.
She was born on Oct. 4, 1942 in Jersey Shore, a daughter of the late Ray Allen and Helen I. (Confer) McFarland.
Mrs. High retired in 1993 from Bell Telephone after 20 years of service.
She is survived by her husband, A. ‘Kirk’ High, whom she wed March 5, 1960 in Clearfield,

Clair High and wife Lynn Anne West Decatur
Kirk High Charleston, SC
Six grandchildren:
Richard, Greg, Kirk, Ryan, Heather and Brittany High
Seven great-grandchildren;
And a brother:
Rich McFarland and wife Trish Red Lion
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kenneth J. Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Friday from 10-11 a.m.
