Vicki L. (Burkett) Soukup, 63, of Clearfield passed away on June 13, 2011 at her home.
She was born on Oct. 6, 1947, in Roaring Spring, PA, the daughter of Russell G. and Ivalou (Houck) Burkett.
Mrs. Soukup was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Clearfield where she was a member of the Bell Choir.
She had graduated from Hagerstown Business College as a medical secretary and was employed with the Clearfield Hospital for 43 years.
Mrs. Soukup is survived by many cousins, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, a niece and step-father-in-law.
She was the last surviving member of her family having been preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard T. Soukup (radio announcer “Rick McKay”) whom she married on April 19, 1986 and who passed away on January 21, 2011.
Funeral services will be held on June 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield with Dr. Robert L. Rupp officiating. Interment will be in the Dudley Cemetery, Dudley, PA.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on June 18, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of services.
