CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield American Legion baseball team’s non-league home game with Philipsburg was rained out Friday and rescheduled for June 3 at 6 p.m. at the Bison Sports Complex, manager Sid Lansberry announced.

The Chiefs will host Brookville Sunday at 6 p.m. and Bellefonte Monday at 2 p.m. in a non-league tilt.

They opened the season with a 6-3Â loss at Punxsutawney last Sunday.

Two other home games also were postponed, DuBois on May 15 and Fox Township on May 21. Neither has been rescheduled.

Clearfield will play 16 games against DuBois, Punxsutawney, Reynoldsville and Brookville in the Jefferson County League.

The Chiefs are booked for 10 non-league games, including four as a host team for the Pennsylvania Wood Bat Championships June 24-25 at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field.
