CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield YMCA has released an updated list of its programs to be offered this summer.
Mini Muscles:
This class consists of tumbling and activities that are geared towards developing motor skills, coordination, flexibility, strength and balance. Classes are held from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays for ages 3 to 5 years with Debbi in the gym. The program is $15 for YMCA members and $30 for non-members. The program will be held for six weeks.
Gym & Swim:
This class consists of both land and water instruction and activities to keep kids moving and having fun. Wear swimsuits under clothes to class. Classes will begin in the gym and conclude in the pool. Classes are held from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays for ages 3 to 5 years. The program is held for six weeks and costs $20 for YMCA members and $40 for non-members.
Tumbling:
Gymnastic activities and skills used to develop strength, agility, balance and coordination. Classes are taught by Debbi and held from 4 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. Wednesdays for ages 3 to 6 years and from 4:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for ages 7 and up. Costs are $15 for YMCA members and $30 non- members.
QuickStart Tennis:
Participants will learn the skills of tennis and have the opportunity to experience the QuickStart Tennis format. This format allows kids to rally back and forth over the net right away and enjoy tennis, feeling confident about the game. This program is taught by Kyle Maines and is for ages 5 to 10 years. We are offering two different series throughout the summer. Please contact the YMCA for times, dates and costs.
