CLEARFIELD – Another Primary Election has come and gone. The voters have spoken, and here are the results:
Clearfield County Commissioner
In a race that saw eight candidates jockying for November’s four ballot spots, incumbents Mark McCracken (D), Joan Robinson-McMillen (R) and John Sobel (R) all advanced. Rounding out the commissioner’s race is Paul (PJ) Monella (D), who edged out fellow Democrat Rex Read (2,662 to 2,630).
District Attorney
Incumbent William A. Shaw Jr. (D) will face challenger Kim Kesner (R) in November. Neither man faced a challenger within their own party.
Magisterial District Judge
46-3-01
Incumbent Pat Ford got the nod from voters on both Republican and Democratic tickets, beating out challengers John Weaver and David Meholick. All candidates in this race cross-filed.
46-3-02
Incumbent Richard Ireland defeated challenger Christine Kutch on both the Democratic and Republican tickets. Both candidates cross-filed.
46-3-03
In a race without an incumbent, Jerome Nevling defeated Daniel on both the Republican and Democratic tickets. Both candidates were cross-filed.
