Obituary Notice: George W. Graham

George W. Graham, age 91 of West Long Avenue in DuBois, PA died May 8, 2011 at Christ the King Manor. 

He was born on October 20, 1919 in DuBois, PA.  He was the son of the late Jacob C. Graham, Sr. & Maude (Ferringer) Graham. 

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II. 

He made his home with Julia Whipkey for 30 years.  She preceded him in death.

He worked as a clerk at Riverside Market.  He retired after many years of service.  He also helped his father at Graham Market located on Olive Avenue in DuBois, PA.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

In addition to his parents and his companion, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jacob C. Graham, Jr. and Arthur H. Graham.

Friends will be received on May 12 from 10-11 a.m. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home in DuBois.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Goble Baronick Funeral Home with Msgr. Richard Siefer officiating. 

Full Military Honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard from the funeral home. 

Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery. 

Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor’s choice.
