Police Report: Sandy Township

A 33-year-old Hanes Drive woman on Wednesday reported that over $10,000 worth of gold and diamonds and $500 worth of movies were removed from her residence. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
A Sioux City, IA man on Wednesday attempted to turn his tractor-trailer into the Wal-Mart parking lot but became stuck in the landscaping at Red Lobster. His tractor-trailer was towed from its position.
On Thursday, a Nappanee, IN man reported that a tractor-trailer backed into his in the parking lot of the Falls Creek Sheetz, causing damage before leaving the scene.
A 25-year-old Gallant, AL man was reported to have been driving erratically along state Route 255 on Thursday. When officers investigated the incident, it was determined that he was under the influence of drugs. He was subsequently taken into custody. Charges are currently pending.
A false alarm was reported at a Treasure Lake resident Thursday.
A 37-year-old Treasure Lake woman on Thursday reported she’d received excessive text messages from her 40-year-old ex-husband. Officers handled the situation without further incident.
A Tozier Avenue man on Thursday reported that his dog had been struck by a pick-up truck, which left the scene.
