TYRONE — The Golden Eagles of Tyrone hosted and swept the Clearfield Area High School boy’s tennis team on Wednesday afternoon in Mountain League play. Tyrone had beaten the Bisons 6-1 back on April 15.
The loss dropped Clearfield’s record to 1-11 on the season. The Bisons return to action on Thursday when they travel to DuBois to face the Beavers.
That will be the last tune up before the District 9 singles championships hosted by DuBois on Monday May 9.
