Police reported theft from a motor vehicle that occurred sometime between 10 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Sunday in a remote, wooded area off Naulton Road in Pike Township, Clearfield County. A 67-year-old Curwensville man’s grandson had a 2001 Yamaha Blaster four-wheeler at the aforementioned location, where it became disabled. A person(s) then stole the engine and damaged the four-wheeler before fleeing the scene. The ATV’s engine had an estimated value of $1,000, while damage to the four-wheeler is estimated at $300. Police reported an incident of burglary/theft that occurred sometime between 9 p.m. and 12 a.m. Saturday at a camp site along Douglas Road in Knox Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) took the following items from a 35-year-old Philadelphia man’s property: a Caterpillar fork lift; two Honda TRX 250 all-terrain vehicles; one Snap-On bottom rolling tool box; one Lincoln 220 volt welder; one Craftsman 3500 watt generator; one Ridged air compressor; three Dewalt drills; one Milwaukee; and one bosh sawzall.
