– Police reported an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime between 1:40 – 1:45 a.m. April 7 at Just for JESUS in Snyder Township, Jefferson County. While traveling on state Route 28, a person(s) allegedly threw a bottle of mustard at the JFJ building, striking the porch and scattering on it. A short time later while traveling north, a juice bottle was thrown, striking the building, and the person(s) were yelling obscenities. The person(s) fled the scene traveling north toward Brockway. A rug was damaged and estimated at $25.
– Police reported an incident of theft that occurred sometime between 2 p.m. March 8 and 1 p.m. April 5 along state Route 219 at the Penelec Harvey Run substation in Washington Township, Jefferson County. A person(s) reportedly entered the substation by butting through the fence and then removed 50 feet of 7 strand, 4/0 copper ground wires. The value of the stolen wire hasn’t yet been determined. – Police reported an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. April 6 along Barr Road in Brady Township, Clearfield County. A known person entered a 36-year-old DuBois woman’s residence and removed several items, which had a total value of $190. The investigation is ongoing; charges are pending.
