Louise Phillips, 84, of Houtzdale died Monday at the Tyrone Hospital.
Born Oct. 24, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Porter and Milissa (Walls) Albright.
She was retired from the Navasky’s Clothing Factory, Philipsburg.
She wed David Phillips March 23, 1946. He preceded her in death April 26, 2005.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by three children, Donna Plemper and her husband, Donald of Tipton, Gail Folhoefer and husband, Kurt of Philipsburg and Kevin Phillips and his wife, Bambi of Houtzdale and four siblings, Richard Albright and his wife, Marge of Brisbin; Vera Phillips of Parsonville; Lena Woods and her husband, Jack of West Decatur; and Mary Yarger and her husband, Earl of Sanborn.
Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, John Mital of Osceola Mills; Tim and David Mital of Houtzdale; Keri Phillips of Julian; Denise Wood of Harrisburg; Marshall Kephart of Everett; Rachel Richardson of Lewistown; Jamie Smith of Altoona; Adam Dollar of South Carolina; and Crystal Dollar of Indiana, PA; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home Inc., 200 David St., Houtzdale. Interment will be at the American Legion Cemetery, Brisbin.
The family will receive friends from 3 – 5 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
