CLEARFIELD – Heavy rains that have moved through the area overnight are causing flooding in some areas and drivers may encounter roadways with water on them. Do not attempt to drive through standing water on roadways. Water may be deeper than it appears.Â
The following road is currently closed due to flooding:Â
Clearfield County
U.S. Route 219 in Burnside Township is closed northbound and southbound from the intersection of state Route 3004 (Sylvis Road) to the intersection of SR 3014 (Harmony Road). Drivers are being directed to a detour that uses SR 3014 (Harmony Road), SR 3001 (Ridge Road and SR 3004 (Sylvis Road). PennDOT expects the road to remain closed until waters recede.
