Police Report: Sandy Township

On Wednesday, a 22-year-old Treasure Lake man reported that his 24-year-old sister who has been living with him and his mother had become abusive to family members. No charges are to be filed at this time.
A 39-year-old Brockway woman reported that a man parked in a handicapped spot at Wal-Mart on Wednesday. She reported that he appeared to have a valid handicapped placard but didn’t appear to be handicapped. Officers spoke to both parties and determined that the 51-year-old Virginia man was legally parked there.
A 25-year-old DuBois woman and a 46-year-old DuBois woman were both backing out of parking spaces at the DuBois Mall, when their vehicles collided on Thursday. Minor damage and no injuries were reported.
On Thursday, a 32-year-old Arminta Street man reported that he went to retrieve his mail and discovered one of his letters had been opened. He reported that a check was missing from his mail.
