Margaret Howell, 94, a guest of Colonial Courtyard of Clearfield, formerly of Olanta, went to be with our Lord on Feb. 21, 2011.Â
Margaret Alexi Olexy was born March 4, 1916 in Carnwath, a daughter of John and Anna Olexy.Â
She was a loving mother and survived by three children:

Great-great-grandmother of Carson Steele & Aiden Weeks.Â
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband John Grice of O’Shanter in 1943 and whom she wed on July 22, 1932, her second husband Norman Howell in 1994 and whom she wed on June 14, 1953 and all of her siblings, Mary Olexy, Annie Holeva, Helen Mohrbacher and John and Mike Oxley.
Margaret and Norman helped to build the Believers Tabernacle Church in Clearfield. Margaret loved life and was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed canning, baking and gardening. She was a devout Christian woman who loved witnessing for our Lord. She was Protestant by faith.
Funeral services will be held at The Presbyterian Church, Clearfield on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. J. Robert Mellgard officiating. Entombment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and at church on Saturday from 10-11 a.m.
