My name is John Kensinger, a registered pharmacist and candidate for the 2010 U.S. Senatorial election in Pennsylvania. Our country was founded on the principles of preserving individual freedom, and limiting the government’s intervention into our lives. We need to ensure that our country and its citizens have the economic tools and freedoms necessary to pursue and achieve greatness. Our nation needs to take steps to reverse unemployment by retraining our nation’s unemployed workers so they can reenter the workforce with an improved or equivalent economic status. We need to reduce the tax burden on families and businesses so there is money available for economic expansion and job creation. Our children deserve an education that equips them with the skills necessary to compete in today’s high tech economy. We need to free our neighborhoods from crime while preserving our second amendment freedom to keep and bear arms. I believe that a great nation has respect for human life. I am 100 percent pro-life, and believe God has a plan for the unplanned. I believe our government was never intended to or should fund abortions. Therefore, I am against all federal funding of abortion both here and abroad. Finally, we must honor our promises to those who brought our country to where it is today, our nation’s senior citizens and veterans.
