Thomas J. Freemer, 76, DuBois died Thursday at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
Born on Feb. 3, 1934 in Brockway, he was the son of the late Joseph E. and Mary V. (Gladish) Freemer. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, DuBois.
Mr. Freemer was a veteran of the United States Army, serving six years. He retired from DuBrook Inc., DuBois, after many years of service. After his retirement, he was a self-employed concrete finisher. He enjoyed his work, and he loved to go to his camp. He was also an avid hunter.
On Sept. 12, 1964 at St. Leo Roman Catholic Church in Ridgway, he married Patricia R. (Shipe) Freemer, who survives. He’s also survived by his sister, Rita M. Freemer of DuBois and several nieces and nephews.Â
Mr. Freemer was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donald J. Freemer; and one sister, Doris M. Gilbert.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
The DuBois Area Honor Guard will conduct a ritual service at 10:45 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Msgr. Richard Siefer officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Full military honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard from the funeral home.
