Police Report: PSP Philipsburg

Police are investigating a reported incident of indecent assault in Philipsburg Borough. According to the police report a known individual had attempted to kiss and inappropriately touch a known adult femail. It was later determined that the allegation were false and that a crime did not occured. No charges will be filed.
Police are investigating a report of identity theft. A known individual obtained access to a another persons debit card and made approximately $2,000.00 in unauthorized transactions. The investigation is continuing.
Police responded to a two vehicle accident on state Route 350, Rush Township, Centre County. According to the report, a Philipsburg woman was traveling south when she lost control of her vehicle on the snow covered roadway and crossed into the path of a Peterbilt truck driven by a Summerville man. No injuries were reported.
