Mable Olive Peoples, 77, of Clearfield died Monday at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Born Jan. 24, 1934 in Curwensville, she was the daughter of William and Olive (London) Meyers. She was a member of the Clearfield Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
Mrs. Peoples was retired from Marion Manor Personal Care Homes of Curwensville. Prior to that, she had been employed by the former Leitzinger’s Department Store, Clearfield.Â
On Jan. 3, 1953 in Clearfield, she wed Lee Peoples Jr., whom preceded her in death on March 9, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, John William Meyers and one sister, Mildred Panasitti.Â
She is survived by two children, Ashley Bryan Peoples and his wife, Jaime of Clearfield and Nancy Keller and her husband, Alan of Alexandria, VA. Also surviving is one sister, Velma Fleming of Stronach.
At the request of Mrs. Peoples, there will be no public visitation, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
