The Volunteer Center of Clearfield County is a coordinating clearinghouse linking those interested in volunteering with volunteer opportunities. Volunteers are matched with agencies and projects according to their skills, interests, and available time.
The Volunteer Center is a community service program offered to agencies and individuals in Clearfield County and is funded by the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, Inc. This is a current volunteer opportunity:

This volunteer opportunity is for men and women 18 years of age or older who want to make a difference in the lives of others. This is accomplished by providing guidance, empowerment, and support for sexual assault victims and helping to prevent abuse.
Free training is offered for anyone interested in becoming a volunteer for Clarion, Jefferson, and Clearfield County. As a volunteer you must complete a 40-hour training program. You must be willing to obtain Act 34 and 151 clearances.
Volunteers provide crisis intervention through the hotline, accompany victims in the emergency room or at police interviews, are on call as needed, or help with fundraising events.
