Jan. 17, 2011
- A 51-year-old Treasure Lake man was stopped at a stop sign on Caribbean Road when a vehicle driven by a 82-year-old Treasure Lake man hit his vehicle from behind. No injuries were reported and the vehicles received minor damage.
- Employees of the Winery at Wilcox reported that $255.00 was missing from a bag containing money collected from the sales of raffle tickets.
- An Ollie Lane resident reported finding foot prints in the snow that appeared to have been from someone walking around her home during the night. There did not appear to be any signs of attempted entry.
- A 21-year-old DuBois woman reported being in the parking lot of the Fullington Bus Terminal when she got into an argument with her 27-year-old Frenchville boyfriend when she discovered he had been drinking. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- The owner of the Brady Street car wash reported that someone attempted to break into a shed at the rear of the business. The lock was broken, but nothing was taken from the shed.
- A 13-year-old DuBois girl and an 18-year-old girl got into an altercation at Big Lots. The 13-year-old became belligerent while the 18-year-old who in turn struck her in the chest. The 18-year-old was cited for her actions.
Jan. 18, 2011
- Treasure Lake Security reported a vehicle over the bank at the Ski Lodge intersection. Upon arrival officers found the 48-year-old Treasure Lake man who had been driving the vehicle standing next to the vehicle and appeared to have been drinking. After failing various field sobriety tests, the man was taken to DRMC for a legal blood draw. Charges are pending.
- A 24-year-old Wilson Ave. woman called 911 to report an altercation between her and her 19-year-old boyfriend, when he got on the phone and reported everything ok. The boyfriend was gone upon officers arrival. The situation was handled without incident.
- A Bucco Beef Road, Treasure Lake resident reported that someone put a dresser in front of her garage door.
- A brown medium sized dog was found at the Falls Creek Sheetz. The dog was taken to the police holding kennel.
- Police responded to a false alarm at the Burger King.
