- Police were dispatched to the Tractor Supply store on Beaver Drive for a report of an alarm. Officer checked the building and found it to be secure.
Jan. 16, 2011
- Police stopped a 43-year-old man from DuBois, near the intersection of Park Avenue and South Brady Street for traffic violations. Whitehouse appeared to be intoxicated and was taken into custody for DUI. Charges are pending the results of the blood tests.
Jan. 17, 2011
- Police responded to a call of a domestic in the 900 block of West Weber Avenue involving a mother and her twenty five year old daughter. The daughter was reported to be out of control. Officers defused the situation. The daughter went to the hospital for evaluation and no charges were filed.
- Police responded to a retail theft at Martins on Hoover Ave. Upon arrival, Officers spoke to store employees who witnessed Alice Hepfl, age 44 from DuBois, conceal items that were held for sale by Martins. The total amount recovered was valued at $31.19. Hepfl was arrested for retail theft.
