CLEARFIELD – At a re-organizational meeting held on Jan. 4, officers of the Clearfield Volunteer Fire Department Fair & Park Board were elected as follows: Manager Greg Hallstrom; President Dave Franson II; Vice President Rex Fink; Treasurer and State Fair Representative David Hallstrom; Alternate State Fair Representative Steve Flangan; and Secretary Larry Bickel.
The Board of Directors will attend the 198th Pennsylvania State Association of County Fairs Convention in Hershey, PA, Jan. 20 – 24, where they will attend various seminars and discussions; meet with entertainment agent Joyce Martin to discuss entertainment for a tentative spring concert as well as for the fair; and meet with Reithoffer Amusements to select the midway rides. Reithoffer boosts a spectacular array of things you’ve never seen before. The directors are very excited to welcome Reithoffer back to Clearfield.
As entertainment for the fair is finalized, the directors hope to make an immediate announcement and make tickets available for purchase on the official fair Web site.
