CLEARFIELD – On Monday night Clearfield Borough Council was like many municipal government entities to reorganize.
James Leitzinger was unanimously elected president of council; James Naddeo vice-president and Susan Reed president pro-tem.
Council also voted on a number of items during the public meeting, one of which was the appointment of the borough’s solicitor. After a unanimous vote F. Cortez “Chip” Bell III was appointed as Clearfield Borough’s solicitor.
Bell tendered his resignation in January 2009. Bell, who served as the borough’s solicitor for 15 years, stepped down for family reasons and to devote more time to personal interests.
