Police Report: Sandy Township

Officers investigated a 911 hang up call at a Kiwanis Trail residence. It was determined to be a mistake.
Officers were called to a domestic disturbance at a Dixon Avenue residence. The dispute was between a mother and daughter and was verbal in nature. The situation was handled without incident.
A 54-year-old DuBois man reported that while stopped at a traffic light a known 52-year-old DuBois man approached his car and assulted him. the victim did not wish to press charges at this time.
A disturbance involving three juveniles being loud and using profanity was reported on Hanes Drive. Officers handled the situation without incident.
An 18-year-old Treasure Lake man swerved his vehicle to avoid hitting another vehicle then lost control, causing his vehicle to hit a utility pole in teh parking lot of Perkins. Minor injuries and major damage was reported.
While turning off Shaffer Road into Ruby Tuesday, an orange tractor trailer hit another vehicle, causing disabling damage, then fled the scene.
