Kristen M. Gresco, age 48, of Mountain Top Lane in Rockton, PA died Jan. 3, 2011 at her residence.
She was born on April 10, 1962 in Oceanside, CA. She was the daughter of Robert Scanish & Evelyn (McKendrick) Scanish. They both survive.
She married Dale R. Gresco on August 4, 1990. He survives.
She worked in the Home Health Department of DuBois Regional Medical Center as a nurse’s aide.
She was a member of the James J. Patterson Post 813 Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She was affiliated with the First Baptist Church in DuBois, PA. She loved to flower garden and enjoyed homemade crafts.
She is survived by her children: Kate Vongxay and her husband, Mike of Salt Lake City, UT, Maria Gresco, Brittany Gresco, Natalie Gresco and Michael Gresco all of Rockton, PA, two sisters, Karla Buckingham and her husband, Sam of Phoenix, AZ and Kelly Stewart and her husband, Edward of Northeast, PA, and her step-mother, Phyllis Scanish.
Friends will be received on Jan. 5, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home in DuBois.
A funeral service will be held on Jan. 6 at 11 a.m. from the First Baptist Church in DuBois with Pastor Mark Montgomery officiating.
