CENTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Pennsylvania State Police investigated a domestic dispute and stabbing in Indiana County on Saturday night.
On November 9, 2024, at approximately 10:03 p.m., members of the Troop A, Indiana Patrol Unit were dispatched to a reported domestic dispute at a residence along Graceton Village Road in Center Township.
Upon arrival and investigation, troopers learned that a 14-year-old female was involved in a domestic altercation with her mother, a 41-year-old female. During the altercation, the juvenile was found to have stabbed her mother multiple times.
Responding troopers rendered aid to the juvenile’s mother, who was flown to Allegheny General Hospital and was last reported to be in critical condition.
The juvenile was taken into custody without incident and has been charged with criminal attempt – homicide via a written allegation filed with the Indiana County Probation Department.
