SYKESVILLE – A 33-year-old Reynoldsville man was airlifted to the Altoona Hospital after he was struck by a vehicle in a hit and run accident Monday night along North Park Street, near the Sykesville Borough line, the DuBois State Police reported.
According to the report, Gregory Punchios, 33 of Reynoldsville, was traveling into Sykesville and was struck by an unknown vehicle. Police indicated that he was unable to provide a direction of travel for the vehicle.
Police did not indicate the severity of his injuries in their report.
