NORTH HUNTINGDON – Recently, North Huntingdon author Kathy Alice celebrated the nationwide release of her new children’s book titled “Hanging with Timmy and Spinner.”
In the story, Timmy will soon start kindergarten with a lot of children who are his age to play with. But he is nervous and wonders if they will like and play games with him.
Then, along comes Spinner, the spider – an unusual companion – who teaches Timmy some yo-yo tricks, giving him the confidence he needs to make new friends.
Alice hopes “Hanging with Timmy and Spinner” will be the perfect confidence booster for any child who is entering pre-school or kindergarten.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Her book is also an eLIVE title with a redeemable code for a free audio book version from TatePublishing.com.
Alice was inspired to write the book after meeting a spider the same way Timmy meets Spinner. She currently resides in North Huntingdon.
