- Police reported that a DUI occurred May 5 along Race Street in Lawrence Township. According to a department-issued news release, a 52-year-old male was stopped for a traffic violation, and determined to be driving under the influence. He was also supposed to have an ignition interlock installed; however, the vehicle he was operating wasn’t equipped with the device. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police reported a vehicle break-in occurred sometime overnight May 4-5 along East Locust Street in Clearfield Borough. According to a department-issued news release, someone broke out a vehicle window, then took a purse and lunchbox. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
- Police reported that an incident of retail theft occurred May 2 at Shoe Sensation at Clearfield Square. According to a department-issued news release, a known female entered the store and removed a pair of shoes valued at $59.99. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police reported that a drug violation occurred May 4 on Reighard Street in Clearfield Borough. According to a department-issued news release, information was received regarding a suspicious male. Contact was made and through further investigation, the male was found to be in possession of marijuana, buprenorphine and various items of drug paraphernalia. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police reported an incident of trespassing occurred May 4 on East Cherry Street in Clearfield. According to a department-issued news release, information was received regarding a 43-year-old male sleeping inside a bus at Fullington Trailways. Upon arrival of police, he was taken into custody and found to be in possession of multiple items of drug paraphernalia. The male was placed in county jail with charges pending.
- Police reported a domestic disturbance occurred May 3 on Susquehanna Avenue in Hyde. According to a department-issued news release, a 28-year-old male was cited for harassment after slapping a female in the face. He left the scene prior to police arrival and charges were filed through the district court.
- Police reported the apprehension and arrest of 39-year-old Justin Jordan. According to a department-issued news release, Jordan was observed along Nichols Street in Clearfield. He was apprehended on an active Pennsylvania State Parole warrant, and allegedly discovered to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia. Jordan was housed in county jail on the warrant, as well as for new charges filed through the district court.
