DUBOIS – The Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League (WPAL) and TEAM 814 are thrilled to announce boxing’s return to the DuBois Country Club for Mayhem in May.
This year’s event will feature local prospects from TEAM 814 who have been training at the WPAL Fitness Center on East Long Avenue.
In addition to local competitors, the event will host young talent from across the Northeastern Region. Boxers from across Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Virginia and Ohio have all been invited to compete.
DuBois Country Club, located at 10 Lakeside Ave., DuBois, will host the boxing card on Saturday, May 4, 2024. Doors open at 6 p.m.; boxing begins at 7 p.m.
WPAL Executive Director Aaron Beatty said, “All winners of their fight will win a customized belt for their efforts. We expect some of the best boxers from our area and the east coast to compete once again at the DuBois Country Club.”
Tickets for the DuBois Event are $30 for general admission and are available now. VIP Gold Ringside, which includes a complimentary pre-party, are $100 each and go on sale soon. Buy online at www.team814.org
