CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Regional police have reported the apprehension of two wanted men.
According to a department-issued news release, officers stopped a vehicle around 12:46 p.m. Feb. 12 in the area of Boyer and South Second streets in Clearfield.
The driver was found to have warrants out of Blair County and his passenger was found to have warrants out of Maryland.
The vehicle also reportedly had a fraudulent inspection sticker. Both men were subsequently taken into custody.
Charges were filed against the driver—38-year-old Roger R. Ward Jr.—for the fraudulent inspection sticker, hindering apprehension and numerous summary traffic offenses.
Charges were also filed against his passenger—44-year-old Travis S. Chichy. Both Ward and Chichy are housed at Clearfield County Jail.
