Clearfield Regional
- Police reported a DUI crash occurred July 12 in the 400-block of East Market Street, Clearfield. According to a department-issued news release, the male driver was found sitting along the roadway. It was learned the vehicle he was driving impacted a parked vehicle. Both were towed from the scene. The male was suspected of being impaired by alcohol; he was transported to Penn Highlands Hospital for medical treatment and a legal blood draw. Following treatment, the male was transported to Clearfield County Jail.
Sandy Township
- A tractor-trailer driver was asleep in his vehicle July 11 at the Pilot parking lot. He felt a crash occur at the front of his truck; the truck, which struck his, left the scene. Serious damage was reported, police said.
- A truck was traveling on Mt. Run Road on July 11 when it got caught in low electrical lines. Fire and electric company personnel were able to free the truck. No injuries were reported, police said.
- Police reported a false alarm occurred July 11 at Lendmark.
- A man reported that he misplaced a wallet at the Treasure Lake Post Office on July 12.
- Police assisted in gaining access to a Time to Bid Road residence for a fall patient on July 12.
- Police received a report of a tree on a vehicle that was being driven by 75-year-old woman in Treasure Lake on July 12. Severe damage and moderate injuries occurred as a result, police said.
- A disturbance was reported at Cliperton Court in Treasure Lake July 12 involving a 48-year-old man and his 54-year-old wife. They got into an argument over the man’s 36-year-old girlfriend living at the home. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- On July 13, a Greenwood Road woman reported that her neighbor’s dog has been home alone for 24 hours, and she was concerned for the animal’s well-being. Officers handled the situation without incident.
