DuBois – A man wanted for fleeing from a traffic stop on Interstate 80 yesterday is still on the loose.
As of 7:30 a.m. Friday, there has been no sign of the suspect.
On Thursday the DuBois-based state police announced a warning of a possible fugitive from justice near I-80 in the vicinity of the Reynoldsville Rest Area.
This morning a subject fled on foot from a traffic stop at the west bound rest area. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
The subject is a 36-year-old white male with short blonde hair. He is said to be 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds wearing a tan, Carhart type jacket.
Police have issued a warning to motorists and area residents not to pick up any hitch-hikers or stop for any subjects. Residents are warned to be cautious, watch property and contact PSP DuBois with any suspicious activity at 814-371-4652.
