John Edward Kelly, 60, of Bells Landing – Mahaffey, passed away Nov. 26, 2010 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born April 3, 1950 in Clearfield, he was the son of William and Margaret (Bumgardner) Kelly. Mr. Kelly was previously employed as a mechanic for the former Berg Electronics of Clearfield, and is currently employed as a Lab Tech for P.M.G. in Philipsburg.
He was a U S Naval Veteran of the Vietnam War, and was a member of the Curwensville L.O.O.M. #268, and the Rescue Hose and Ladder Co. Station 8, in Curwensville.
On Oct. 5, 1991 in Bloomington, he wed the former Irene M. Wilson who survives along with 2 children Renee’ M. Johnson and her husband Darren, and Heather D. Wooddell and her husband Brad both of Pittsburgh, 2 step children Melissa S. Hartzell and her husband Joseph of Westover, and Neil G. Irwin of Bells Landing.
Also surviving is his parents of Clearfield, three brothers and a sister. William Kelly Jr. of Clearfield, James Kelly and his wife Trish of Georgia, Robert Kelly and his wife Patty of Brockport, and Debbie Hill and her husband Harry of Clearfield.
At the request of Mr. Kelly, there will be no public visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
