- The State Police Fire Marshalls investigated an apartment building fire at 17 Jerome Ave in the City of Bradford. The two story building was being used for storage and also contained three apartments. The fire was discovered on the second floor of a storage unit and the fire spread to a second floor apartment. The first floor apartments and storage units suffered water damage. There were no injuries. Damage is listed at $200,000.00. There was minimal insurance coverage on the building and no insurance coverage on the contents. The American Red Cross is assisting the tenants. The Bradford Township and Derrick City Fire Department assisted in the investigation

- Police investigated an accident that occurred on SR949 Ridgeway Township, Thursday. A 20 yr old woman was traveling West on SR949 and struck a bridge rail. The vehicle began spinning , crossed both lanes of traffic and struck a culvert. The driver and her passenger were not injured. The vehicle sustained severe damage. Traffic citations were file at the Magistrate’s office in Johnsonburg.
- A 46 yr old Industry man received moderate injuries in an accident on SR120 in Ridgeway Township. The man was traveling West on SR120 when his vehicle struck the guideraiil. The vehicle became airborne and struck an embankment and came to rest in a ditch. The male was transported to the Elk County Regional Health Center by Ridgeway Ambulance. The vehicle sustained severe damage. Charges were filed at the Magistrate’s office in Johnsonburg.
- A 31 year old woman’s car was damaged in the parking lot of Walmart in Fox Township.
- Police are investigating a camp burglary along German Settlement Road in Ridgeway Township. The actors entered the camp by breaking a glass door. Once inside they caused damage to a a television set and a water pump.
